iMesh is a search tool that lets you locate and download audio, images, documents, and video files from a growing community of seven million people. The files themselves are located on the computers of other iMesh users who have agreed to share their files, and can be transferred from one desktop to another without a server in between. Downloads are very fast and can be resumed later if a file's owner disconnects from iMesh. The patent-pending iMesh technology allows you to download files from up to seven users at the same time.

iMesh offers special features such as quick downloads, the option to restrict certain search results, a player that includes playlists, a history of uploads, skin support, and much more.

This program uses a Web-based interface to let you search for artists, tracks, and albums, and download the tracks onto your computer. The client program is small and simple, designed to use a minimum of CPU and memory resources. Satellite automatically selects the closest user with the file you want, reducing external bandwidth usage. Files currently offline can also be selected for download, and once somebody who has the file comes online, your transfer will begin. If your download is interrupted, the Satellite Auto-Resume function will find an alternate user with the same file and complete the download.

1 Cool Button Tool allows you to create any number of button styles and behaviors. Button attributes include color, depth, transparency, text color, border color, AU and WAV sound, GIF and JPEG bitmaps--even drag-and-drop buttons. The applet generator requires Internet Explorer 3.0 or later, but the generated applets will run on any Java-enabled browser.

Version 4.x lets you add animation to your buttons, which can play in response to events such as mouse clicks or when the applet starts up. You can also incorporate start-up transitions that, for example, slide buttons onto the applet area when the applet starts. The action/event model has been improved, allowing you to perform actions on mouseup events, and when buttons become checked or unchecked. In addition, you can set the bitmap position anywhere in the button area (bitmaps may be aligned left, right, or centered, or you can set a bitmap offset). This version includes a performAction() JavaScript method that lets any action be performed from JavaScript, as well as flat-shaded buttons and several bug fixes. Version 4.1 is a maintenance release that has bug fixes and improved performance.
